About this work
Motif in the form of an oval of natural-colored bobbin lace: Cluny lace. The contour of the oval is made in linen stitch. Within the contour a braided diamond-shaped grid and a faint S-shaped field in net stitch on which a branch with seven leaves made in pattern stitch. The diagonal braids that form the grid are partly provided with picots.
