Corporal or chalice cloth of linen with embroidery - white work - in the corners and edged all around with a border of natural-colored bobbin lace: Old Flemish lace with ribbon decoration (ribbon lace). Square model. Embroidery: in each corner stands a cross embroidered in satin stitch with equal arms, where each arm separately also ends in a cross. Lace: the repeating and symmetrical pattern consists of a narrow and continuous winding ribbon that forms a row of hearts with three-lobed crowns. The ribbon is bobbin lace in linen stitch with openwork edges on one side. Braids support the model of the motifs and connect the motifs to each other. The shell border is formed by the three-lobed crowns on each of the successive hearts.
