About this work
Cuff of natural-colored bobbin lace. Narrow rectangular model. The pattern consists of a horizontal straight band worked in net stitch, around which runs a border worked in linen stitch. In the border, above and below, a row of cutouts is made, always three holes under each other where the middle one is the largest and this repeats at regular intervals. The cuff is finished along two short and one long side with an open scalloped border, worked in linen stitch with openwork edges and on the outside provided with a thicker and shiny contour thread and finished with picots. In each scallop a block in form stitch.
