About this work
Collar for a boy of Irish crocheted lace. Lying pattern, ending in points at the front and three flat lobes (shoulders and center back). Symmetrical pattern of round roses on a long single stem with two leaves. The two roses at the center back form a V and the roses are connected by a diamond-shaped network with picots. A border of diamond-shaped leaves runs along the neck. A scalloped border of linked relief roses runs along the outer edge, like the roses in the central field, but without stems. A scalloped border around each rose.
