About this work
Shawl collar of natural-colored Irish crocheted lace. Model with long points at the front and a point at the center back. The model is not entirely symmetrical. The pattern consists of grape clusters in relief, flowers with three petals in closed stitches, and flowers with three petals in lattice work. The flower hearts, like the grapes in the clusters, are made with open relief circles. The collar is finished along the outer edge with an arch border of triple arches with picots. The inner edge is finished straight.
