About this work

Linen handkerchief with embroidery: whitework with plumetis. Rectangular shape with a shell border of small arches along a narrow border work with drawn threads. The embroidery is located in the corners, where it occupies relatively small oval areas. The corners, here numbered arbitrarily, show flowers, birds, mammals and a human: branch with fox and rising raven; branch with stork and fox by bottle with long neck; oval flower wreath; leaf above which a snake(?) and kneeling man.
