About this work
Wedding dress of white ottoman silk, consisting of a bodice (A) and a skirt (B). The skirt, which consists of three gathered panels and is slightly draped at the hips in front, is attached to the bodice. A four-panel train, strongly gathered vertically, extra long and rounded. Decoration: effilé strips in regular pleats along the hem of the skirt and the train. The train of satin and glass batiste is decorated with machine-made lace and is attached to the skirt with a quarter hoop that is meant to fall over the queue. Address: ESPERANCE POS/AMSTERDAM.
