About this work
Mantle with edges of black silk bobbin lace, Chantilly lace. Rectangular shape of machine-made tulle with cut-out edges. The wide lower edge has a repeating pattern of a c-shaped composition, made with large flowers and leaves. The three other sides have a scalloped edge consisting of linked oval leaves.
