Under-sleeve of lace embroidery - needle lace on machine net - and a cuff of two strips of bobbin lace: Lille and Mechelen lace. The strip of Lille lace is sewn to the under-sleeve and the strip of Mechelen lace at the bottom of the Lille lace strip. Pagoda model. On the machine net a scattered pattern of berry twigs is embroidered. The repeating pattern of the Lille lace consists of a lying branch with a rosette flower, three berries and some whimsically shaped leaves. The repeating and symmetrical pattern of the Mechelen lace consists of a horseshoe-shaped arch formed by two flower branches with some different flowers. Along the very flat scalloped edge lie oval fields formed by leaves or twigs, alternated by a hand-shaped leaf directly under the arch. The edge is finished with picots.
