Under-sleeve of natural-coloured appliqué lace: Carrickmacross lace. Balloon-shaped model. The sleeve is gathered onto a close-fitting cuff. Both the cuff and the lower part of the under-sleeve are decorated with appliqué embroidery in the form of a regularly wavy floral garland with loose curling floral sprays. The garland and sprays are designed in the same way with a thin 'stem' with on both sides drop-shaped small leaves, occasionally a large flower and further smaller simple round flowers with open centres. In the flower centres of the largest flowers a decorative ground is worked with stitches through the tulle. The cuff is edged with a scalloped border of flowers and C-scrolls, and can be fastened by means of two buttons.
