About this work

Women's shoe of black taffeta with openwork forefoot. Model: Rounded toe, one vamp and two side panels. The front of the high heel runs straight down in a rounded corner. The sides and back of the heel slope inward so that the heel becomes narrower towards the bottom. The heel is covered with black taffeta. Leather back flap nailed to the heel with 4 nails and a black leather sole. Side panels and vamp lined with ivory-colored leather. The insole is of gray-white leather. Decoration: Two bands laid crosswise over the instep, creating four oval openings in the forefoot.
