About this work

Lady's shoe of black taffeta silk. Model: Rounded pointed toe, one vamp and two quarters. The front of the high heel runs straight down in a rounded corner. The side and back of the heel slope inward, making the heel narrower towards the bottom. The heel is covered with black taffeta silk. Leather back piece with five nails fastened to the heel and leather sole. Vamp and quarters lined with cream-colored ribbed cotton. The insole is of ribbed cotton. Welt bound with black taffeta ribbon.
