About this work
Cap of natural-colored lace embroidery: Lier lace. The cap body is in one piece. The bow shape has a straight base, gathered and set on a smooth edge, with a widened end. Along this runs on the outside a piped strip reinforced with laiton. Drawstring in the base of the body. The motifs are embroidered on tulle in the tambour technique. Machine-made Lille lace for the neckband with a scatter pattern of small flowers on branches.
