About this work
Bridal veil or baptismal veil of natural-colored lace embroidery, tambour work. The flower hearts are of work with drawn threads. On the mesh, diagonal lines are embroidered, alternating with flatter and a deeper wavy lines. The bottom edge has large lying ovals, which are asymmetrically composed of flowers and flower stems radiating to the left, top and right. The side edges have smaller, airier standing ovals, matching the larger ones. On three sides the veil is bordered with a fine point edge.
