About this work

Reverse of natural-coloured needle lace, Venise plat. Pattern with two crosses and two C-monograms in a scrolling vine pattern of simple flowers. Above the monograms a flowerpot with three flowers. Ground with hexagonal picoted spindles. The upper edge is edged with a bobbin lace border. The lower edge is finished with a picot border with arches.
