About this work

Strip of natural-coloured needle lace, Venise plat. Pattern with strongly curved scrolls and simple flower and leaf forms. The strip consists of two strips sewn together. Irregular spindle ground with picots. The finishing with a picot border on the upper side differs from the finishing with a picot border on the lower side of the strip.
