Strip of bobbin lace with two stylised mirrored flowers between vertical lines and ovals

Strip of natural-colored Dutch bobbin lace. The pattern consists of a repeating motif with two vertical straight lines, which are crossed in the middle by a pointed oval. Between the vertical lines stand two stylized flowers, mirrored across the length axis. The motifs are made in closely worked linen stitch with cutouts. There is hardly any ground; the motifs are held together by very short braids. The top and bottom of the strip are finished straight. Along one long side a narrow strip of linen batiste is visible, possibly a fragment of a sheet or something similar, to which the strip was originally attached.
