About this work
Small strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Old Flemish lace or Dutch bobbin lace. The strip is attached to a triangular fragment of linen batiste. The lace has a pattern consisting of vertical straight lines, between which stands a stylized flower. On the center line the flower is flanked on the left and right by a lying pointed oval, which always crosses the vertical line. The motifs are made in linen stitch with cutouts, there is hardly any ground, the motifs are connected to each other by very short braids. The top and bottom of the strip are finished with a straight edge.
