About this work
Cartouche carpet. Central field: brown-red ground with a double cross with pointed top and foot, in cognac color with green outline and filled with two blocks hooked on the outside and with linked diamonds on the inside. Borders: in two types: the vertical differs from the horizontal border. 1. A rust-brown border runs on the sides, upon which star-flowers stand between yellow, checkered crosses. 2. Top and bottom borders in terracotta red with yellow double hooks placed in squares.
