About this work

Perken carpet, Yuruk nomad carpet. Central field: three lying rectangles with white hexagons in dark orange, separated and bordered by bands with colored diagonal S-shapes. Fillings of an eight-pointed dark blue cross and in the heart a lying cerise hexagon. Border: triple. The main border is dark orange with large loose flowers in light green, dark brown, and cobalt blue. The inner selvage is the band around the fields; the outer selvage is equal to it. Fringe: short fringe with embroidered figures in many colors, transitioning into knotted fringe.
