About this work

Bowler hat of black cloth. Brim slightly arched with a strongly inwardly curved outer edge upon which a black grosgrain ribbon is sewn. A matching hat ribbon around the crown. Lining of white satin and brown leather headband. Coat of arms in gold print of the Prince of Wales (?).
