Bowler hat of black felt, 'Stetson'. On the side a brim curled inwards. Crown flattened from above with a number of air holes in star shape in the middle. Leather band with white ribbon at the back. Edged with grosgrain ribbon. Address: John B.E. Stetson company/Select Quality/Imported from America, with coat of arms in oval. And: By Special Appointment/H.A. Keller/Leidschestraat 16/Amsterdam, in coat of arms with a recumbent lion and three crowns. On the hat band the metal initials: E. C.
