About this work

Fichu or pelerine of needle lace with a rounded back. The pattern has a flower branch on the center-back axis in a cartouche of C-scrolls. Around it C-scrolls and floral garlands. The neckerchief is edged with a border decorated with wavy bands running across the width of the border; these are filled with decorative stitches. The border is scalloped and edged with picots.
