About this work

Collar of natural-colored needle lace: Venetian needle lace "gros point" with an outer edge of bobbin lace. The collar features a cord with decorative tassels. The needle lace pattern consists of broad curling leaves and palmette flowers. The bobbin lace pattern consists of geometric motifs and very deep scallops, inspired by punto in aria (needle lace).
