About this work

Collar of natural-colored needle lace: Venetian rose lace. Square model with ruff shape. Against an open needlepoint ground stand symmetrical feathered leaf scrolls on vines, to which furthermore mainly three-lobed palmette flowers, which show doubled and tripled bow edges. Around a slightly scalloped leaf edge of roses and palmettes.
