About this work

Collar of natural-coloured bobbin lace. Sailor model with attached round neck and square back and two diamond-shaped front panels. Symmetrical pattern with seven diamonds. Each diamond is surrounded by C-scrolls that form bows. The motifs are connected by braids with picots. A lattice ground is applied in the C-scrolls. In each diamond stands a flower with six petals made in form stitch. Such flowers in form stitch also appear in other parts of the pattern.
