Bronze cooking pot with founder's initials I.F.H.

The pot, cast in one piece, has a casting seam in the middle between the ears. The body is round and has an almost flat base. It is decorated with two horizontal ribs, above which, near one ear, are the initials (of the founder) I.F.H. The body and neck form an obtuse angle, clearly indicated on the inside and faintly on the outside. The thickened upper half of the neck on the outside takes the place of the rim. The pot stands on three legs, which have the cross-section of an obtuse triangle, and whose feet are indicated by two horizontal thickenings. The underside of the body is roughly finished with a file. The three legs, which are of later date, are riveted and soldered.
