About this work

Collar of batiste with insertions and wide border of machine lace: etching lace. The lace imitates Irish crocheted lace. Pelerine-shaped. On a lying neckpiece filled with fine diagonal running stitches, an insertion of lace is set in an angular line. Under the insertion a gathered strip is sewn with open work and a scalloped edge.
