About this work
Strip of bobbin lace, silver lace. The pattern consists of a zigzag line between which alternating hanging and standing fans are placed. Below the standing fans hangs a small fan. The zigzag lines are formed by a double row of leaves made in buttonhole stitch. The fans are largely made with long up and down silver lamé threads, with ribbed filé threads in between. The shells along the underside come from the pattern with the fans. The upper side is finished straight.
