About this work
Strip of bobbin lace, silver lace. The repeating pattern consists of fans of silver lamé threads and ribbed filé threads. The fans are connected to each other by a mesh ground, a buttonhole stitch lattice ground. The upper side is finished straight. The shells along the underside are formed by the fans.
