About this work
Lying, square collar of batiste decorated with English embroidery and needle lace. The collar consists of a rectangle of ribbed cotton edged with a strip of batiste decorated with circles of needle lace. A strip of batiste is attached here, decorated with English embroidery in the form of flowers, and edged with a scalloped festooned edge. The different strips are separated by decorative bands.
