About this work

Shoulder knot of orange moiré ribbon with fringe of gold thread, worn on the court dress by members of the honour guard at the inauguration of Queen Wilhelmina in 1898. The ribbon is sewn into a central knot with a pair of extra long loops and ends finished with gold fringe.
