About this work
Shoulder knot of orange moiré ribbon with fringe of gold thread with a pin on the back, worn on the court dress by members of the honour guard at the inauguration of Queen Wilhelmina in 1898. Model: the ribbon is sewn into a small central knot with a pair of extra long loops and ends finished with gold fringe.
