Strip of needle lace with clover leaves and fan-shaped flowers

Strip of natural-coloured needle lace: men's Alençon. Scatter motif with clover leaves on a fine hexagonal mesh ground. Along the upper edge a row of rosettes. The pattern at the underside of the strip consists of a series of leaf branches with plumes. Below that fan-shaped flowers originating from the lower edge, filled with an ornamental ground. The underside is finished with a scalloped edge of picotted circles with a wheel picot inside. The upper side is finished with a straight edge.
