Dress of bobbin lace with a rosette surrounded radially by golden rain branches and flowers

Cloth of natural-colored bobbin lace: Duchesse lace. Rectangular model, irregularly scalloped. In the center stands a rosette flower with eight pointed oval leaves. From the center run sixteen radially placed straight lines, surrounded by three-part leaves and curving flower clusters like of a laburnum. The motifs are largely made in net stitch and linen stitch with openwork edges and cutouts. The motifs are connected to each other by trellis grounds and braid grounds, which alternate in concentric 'circles' from the center to the edges. On the pointed oval leaves many leaves are applied in buttonhole stitch. With the cloth the design drawing and lace patterns have been preserved.
