About this work

Handkerchief of batiste with a wide border of natural-colored needle lace: Venetian relief lace. The inner piece of linen batiste is scalloped and rosette-shaped. Lace: on a spool ground stand scrolls with various flowers, such as fan-shaped palm flowers, paisley motifs, etc., which are grouped asymmetrically.
