About this work
The ivory mount is pierced and carved in relief, with 22 connected ribs. The three cartouches with Rococo ornaments, containing a fruit bowl and gardening tools, are surrounded by smaller cartouches with birds and small putti. The back is smooth. The inner side of the outer ribs is lined with metal. Locking pin and faceted glass.
