About this work
Silver fan with decoration of stacked palmettes. The model has 17 ribs, connected by a narrow silk ribbon and fitted with a silver fan ring. The ribs along the rounded top are shallowly scalloped; stacked palmettes are on the support piece, and there is a smooth inner edge. The support piece is unadorned.
