About this work

Folding fan with batik front leaf in blue-brown colors, featuring a symmetrical subject with 15 figures. The central figure with three heads has standing figures on either side making a bowing movement. Above the figures are flowers and four half-moons. The back leaf is of green crêpe. The frame has 18 legs of mother-of-pearl with yellow and white gold-leaf inlaid flowers and C-scrolls; the back is unfinished. The locking pin is of copper.
