About this work

Damask napkin with the Conquest of Barcelona, dated 1706 and marked B. The field has a mirrored pattern with, from bottom to top: a view of the city of Barcelona with the inscription BARSALONA 1706, a rider with the inscription CAROLUS TERIVS (Charles of Habsburg), and a coat of arms, a group of men, and a man at a cannon. The running borders have coat of arms trophies.
