Strip of machine-made lace with C-shaped leaf and fan-shaped flower

Strip of machine lace. Below two rows of bosses the repeating pattern along the bottom side of the strip consists of a curved stem with a downward bending fan-shaped flower, against which a C-shaped leaf lies. From the curved stem springs an upward-facing cup-shaped flower. The motifs appear to be made in net stitch and linen stitch with some round cutouts and are provided with contour threads. They are connected to each other by a machine Paris ground. As a decorative ground a machine snowflake ground is applied in the space enclosed by the C-shaped leaf. The top side of the strip is finished straight. The shell edge along the bottom side comes from the pattern with the flowers and leaves and is finished with picots.
