About this work
Table of coromandel and ebony wood, inlaid with tin borders. The edge of the round top consists of five equal segments with a rounded upper edge and a straight side. Where the segments meet, they are indented at the bottom. The five high legs with tin borders are bent inward at half height, rest on blocks, and are connected by a leaf just above them. The lower panel is covered with linoleum; the top panel features symmetrically placed birds and curved lines of ebony, the space around them is carved out and filled with a white mass.
