About this work
Round plate of blue-painted faience. On the flat surface, a landscape is painted with a figure (Chinese) holding up a canopy. The rim is divided into eight compartments. In two large compartments, a standing figure in a landscape is painted, in two other large compartments a seated figure in a landscape, and in four small compartments flower scrolls.
