About this work
Jug (schnelle) of stoneware with a cylindrical, tapering body and C-shaped handle. Profiles under the rim and above the foot. On the body, in relief, three times a printed and applied elongated panel with in the center a medallion containing the Annunciation, the Crucifixion or the Resurrection. The medallions are surrounded by vines and grotesques. The right medallion bears the mark 'H.H.'. The jug is mounted in a tin case with a lid. Siegburg.
