About this work

Oboe made of palmwood with twelve silver keys, a silver finger rest, and three open rings. Marked on the upper section: TAMME & KRUSPE (in a scroll) / [anchor] / CARL KRUSPE / LEIPZIG (in an oval) / CK (monogram). Marked on the middle section: D. R.J.M. / 71757 / [anchor] / CARL KRUSPE / LEIPZIG (in an oval) / CK (monogram). Marked on the lower section: [anchor] / CARL KRUSPE / LEIPZIG (in an oval) / CK (monogram). The oboe is in a case lined with black leather and purple velvet.
