About this work
Cast-iron stove plate, divided into two zones. In the upper zone, under arches, two female figures on a console; on the left Lucretia and on the right Judith. Both have a cloth draped around their waists and are separated by a colonnette. Above the arches is leaf ornament. In the lower zone a half-figure amidst leaf ornament.
