About this work

Cast-iron stove tile, divided into two zones. In the upper zone, under arches, two female figures: Lucretia on the left and Pudicitia on the right. They are separated by a colonnette. Above the arches is foliate ornament. In the lower zone, a medallion with a bust in profile amidst foliate ornament.
