About this work
Cast-iron stove plate, divided into two zones. The upper zone depicts two coats of arms, each with a standing lion. The shields are placed between three columns, upon which rest two double arches with vine scrollwork above. The lower half shows two standing lions under a round arch, separated by a column. Two bunches of grapes hang above the lions.
