Strip of bobbin lace with two loose flower sprigs between a strew pattern

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Valenciennes lace. The pattern consists halfway along the strip of a row of loose small flowers on a stem with two leaves. Below is a row of flower sprigs placed, always directly below the small flowers in the row above. Between the small flowers and flower sprigs is a scattered pattern of kidney-shaped motifs and between the flower sprigs in a circular motif. Along the lower edge runs a pattern which consists of a series of always three rosette small flowers and an elongated c-shaped leaf. The motifs are connected to each other by a hexagonal mesh ground. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork edges. A decorative ground is sparingly applied in the flower hearts and the circular scattered motif. The scalloped lower side is finished with picots. The upper side is finished straight.
