Earthenware Soup Tureen with Lid

Ceramic soup tureen with lid. The oval tureen with arched sides and low scalloped foot is decorated with two bouquets, one composed of a purple tulip, a purple rose, and a sprig of blue and yellow flowers with green leaves, and the other of a rose, two asters, and a sprig of yellow and blue flowers. Along the longitudinal axis in rocaille, two ears with purplish leaves. The arched and scalloped lid has a matching decoration and is crowned by a purple and yellow fruit on a stem with light green leaves. The glaze is somewhat chalky. No marks.
